Scrapbooking Made Simple

After waiting nearly 2 months and several emails later, I finally decided to call today. Was refused the number for the shipping manager and was told the call could not be transferred. Unfortunately I didn't look at the reviews listed here until after I had ordered and after emails and waiting. And I'm now told it would be 7 to 10 days before The order will even ship.. The customer service person I talked to is named Doris and although she did remain courteous on the phone, the excuse was that they were behind. No explanation was given why they don't staff for the volume they receive in online orders. I have never seen this kind of service on any other online store I have ever shopped through. Order at your own risk. By the way someone else that entered a review and was very displeased contacted the Better Business Bureau and was told the rating for Scrapbooking Made Easy was listed in a very derogatory manner. So now I continue to wait. I was asked if I wanted to cancel my order and unfortunately I do not because the dies I ordered are specifically in house designs and cannot be ordered anywhere else.

First time ordering from them, never heard of them but the name came up in a scrapbook FB group. I checked them out. Granted limited amount available BUT they had what I needed, The New Tim Holtz Vault series. Placed another order from a competitor and received Made Simple 2 days prior than the order placed 5 days prior from the competitor who was 2 states over! Order was very well packaged, a handwritten thank you and a small hidden gem as well. I order a great deal online, increase your TH product line and you may just become a regular merchant! Highly recommend :)

Very disappointing and I told them after 2 years I would no longer order because I simple wasn't getting the items I ordered in a reasonable timeframe, including the items ordered under standard shipping. My "Ship when it ships "order arrived 9 months later and only a partial shipment. When I told them I would be cutting back, their response was to cancel ALL of my orders, including ones paid for, which is not what I asked them to do. The money was put back in my account. I asked for them "please advise the status..." My email was professional and not rude, but I felt their response was SO unprofessional. I will not longer recommend this store to my friends and I'll pay the extra couple of dollars and get the order within a week. I don't buy the 'mom and pops' image. If they have thousands of orders and can't ship, hire more people than the 20 or so they have. Bad business and poor customer service

I made my first visit to Scrapbooking Made Simple last Saturday and I just love the place. Not only can you buy scrapbooking supplies at this store. You can also order online. Be aware that it may take awhile to receive your order. The staff is scarringly knowledgeable about scrapbooking and how to use the supplies that are carried in the store. There are supplies a available here that are not available anywhere else in the United States. Classes are available here also. I just can't wait to go back again. The store is handicap accessible and parking is free. Classes are available on scrapbooking. The owner does also has a YouTube channel where she gives lessons on scrapbooking.

Superb Customer Service! Whenever I visit this store I am welcomed by friendly staff who are eager to help if I need it. The store has a diverse selection of high quality crafting items. The big sales events throughout the year are fantastic for the novice crafter to the seasoned crafter. The owner is dedicated to offering the best products at exceptional values. Regarding the reviews where people are disgruntled about shipping time frames, often, it can indeed take a while to receive products ordered from this store. The policies are crystal clear about shipping. If a person is unwilling to wait a long time to receive their order then it would be prudent for that person to shop elsewhere. Complaining about it in a review changes nothing. I have ordered products online from this store with the understanding that the shipping time frames are long, period. I am willing to wait because I cannot get the amazing deals this store has during their major sales at my local big box stores. Writing a review where the store owner is villainized because a person doesn't like or agree with the store's shipping policies is not nice. The store owner is a person of tremendous integrity. Her employees work incredibly hard everyday of the week to process online orders. If you are willing to wait for your order, you will not regret the bang for your buck. Finally, parking is free and it can be a little tricky because there are other businesses in the small shopping center.

AVOID THIS STORE!!! This store states shipment can take 30 days which is excessive to me. Why does it take a month to ship out. Well it took them 3 months to ship it. When I requested a status on shipment after 2 months-she stated Covid caused her to close down which was understandable except that she was continuing to have sales & doing you tube videos on her sales & craft tutorials. Well if she has time for all that it would seem that she would have time to ship orders. There are lots of complaints on her shipping times, some as long as 6 months. I wish I would have seen these first. I would advise not ordering from this store.

Boy, I wish I had read the reviews before I bought. I'm experiencing the same thing. I placed my order about 6-7 weeks ago. They charged my credit card when I placed the order. However, after about 3 weeks, I sent an email and they said they wouldn't send it until after 30 days. After 30 days, they said give them another week. After 2 more weeks, I emailed again, and now they won't even respond to my emails. I've sent 2 emails now that have not been responded to. I understand they are a small company, but they should be able to fill the orders better than this; and to not even respond to emails is unacceptable. I've ordered dies directly from China and get them in 2 to 3 weeks. I will not be ordering from this company again.

I recently placed an order through this company, only to find out after the fact that shipment of an order can take up to 6 months.. The problem isn't that it takes so long, but rather when I called and found out about the 6mo. turnaround, I asked that my order be canceled. The lady whom I was speaking with then told me my order cannot be canceled because I checked a box in the checkout process. Really? It hasn't even been a few hours since I placed my order.. Apparently there were terms and conditions which stated that orders might take an extremely long time, but I'll admit I didn't see it.. and apparently I'm not the only one after reading these other reviews. Maybe it would be a good idea to make the delivery time more obvious, and not buried in a terms and conditions agreement during checkout. And to not let a customer cancel an order only a few hours after placing it, which may take months for your company to process, for a reason that many other people are apparently also complaining about, is anything but professional. I won't be ordering from your company or recommending it to anyone. Good luck with your business model.
